Meeting

Due to the lack of a quorum, the Carney Improvement Association was not able to conduct any official business at its scheduled October 18 meeting.  Those present were informed of:

           Status of zoning requests for 3015 East Joppa Road and 3106 Sixth Avenue

           Success of crab feast fundraiser

           Availability of the newsletter

           Need for volunteers for Holiday Treelighting scheduled for December 9

           Grants meeting to be held October 26

           No. 19 bus line study

Lack of a quorum prevented the election of officers and the nomination of board members.

Since elections were not able to be held, they will be conducted during the November 15^th meeting.  We need increased attendance at the meetings!!!  In addition, the position of Sergeant-At-Arms still is open for nominations, let’s fill it please!  We cannot continue to operate as an organization if people do not volunteer to help.  Thank you.
